The Grace Society

The Grace Society is California Women's List's donor club created to celebrate and engage supporters who contribute $50 or more a year to support candidates. I developed the branding while Design Chair of the CWL board. The logo design was created to work within the existing branding and on it’s own. I also designed a lockup with the two logos for instances where the team would want this option. The club is named after, Grace Dorris, one of the first women to be elected into the California legislature in 1918. While a teacher in Kern County, Grace pushed for shorter working hours for domestic workers and created the first public defender's office for indigent defendants. CWL continues to use this branding to honor the women who came before while focusing on the important mission to elect more women to state legislature.
